Anticipation

Productive day! Picked up Burton's senior rations for the month. Beautified myself a bit at the salon. Worked on my personal website (coming soon.) That's proven to be a difficult task... defining yourself thru graphic design and words. I keep changing my mind. Would probably be easier to hire someone.

Big ups to JH for stoking out Big Red today. Typical Johnny, he was minus the unrequited cast on his newly broken hand. Due to lack of storage space in the van he had to get crafty. Ripped out some old stuff. Replaced it with a shinny new stuff with a rim so stuff won't fall. Yaaaaaaa!! Job well done. But would you expect less from a Watts?

Now I can start packing it up! I'm starting to get excited to get on the road.

The Route

Only four more days until I embark on the North West Loop! Check out the map of my route. It goes Murphys, CA; Markleeville, CA; Reno, NV; Evanston, WY; Jackson Hole, WY; Victor, ID; Kennewick, WA; Seatle, WA; Vancouver, WA; Portland, OR; Eugine, OR; Humboldt, CA; Nappa Valley, CA then back home to Murphys. 2,993 miles in 26 days. I feel a bit overwhelmed right now. Lots to pack and do. Can't wait until I can relax a bit. Finishing up loose ends. Made a big batch of Kombucha for the road... gotta have my living food! Burton is getting nervous and always has his eye on me. He knows we are going somewhere. He reminded me not to forget his tug rope earlier. Hoping he will fare well on this long journey. Really looking forward to catching up and spending time with good friends along the way!
